The Reverend Ronald M. Owen, Assistant Rector 
Ron is a 2008 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria. During seminary he served as a Cathedral Seminarian at Washington National Cathedral, and was a Canterbury Scholar at Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury, England, during the summer of 2007. Ron has recently been appointed the Diocesan Jubilee Officer for the Jubilee Ministries of the Diocese of Florida, and serves on the Diocesan Ecclesiastical Court. Before seminary, Ron practiced law in Orlando and Jacksonville. Ron is married to Janet Owen, who is Vice President for Governmental Affairs at the University of North Florida. Ron is the proud father of a son, Dr. Andy Owen, and a daughter, Capt. Carrie Owen, USAF. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he majored in History and Political Science, and the University of Florida College of Law.
After ordination, Ron served for 1½ years as the Director of Operations for Domestic Ministries with FreshMinistries in Jacksonville, FL, and as Priest Associate at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville.
