Christian Formation at an Early Hour

Led by Jim Corbett Sunday mornings at 9:00 in the Parlor of the Parish Hall, Christian Formation at an Early Hour is a lively gathering of inquiring minds and relational hearts. Discussions move fluidly between the “world behind the text” and its relevance today in such a way that every one leaves with something new. Hear what people are saying about this class:

Christian Formation For ALL

Sunday Mornings from 10:10 - 11:00 is our Christian Formation “hour” during fall, winter and spring. Adult classes take place on the second floor of the education building in rooms 201-2 and 204 as well as the Library. Clergy and lay led, these offerings have wide appeal and are well worth time spent. To find out what is scheduled for any given Sunday, click above on the far right tab “Calendar” and click on class title for a description of each Sunday’s offering. Adult classes are also listed in the bulletin and the monthly parish newsletters.

Want More Bible? New—Beginning October 5th during the formation “hour”, Jim Corbett will repeat his early Christian Formation class for anyone looking for a bible-based alternative to the other adult offering(s).

Are you new to St. Peter’s? Each fall, our clergy & staff offer a class for newcomers over three consecutive Sunday mornings during the Christian Formation for ALL hour (10:10-11:00). Check on the Calendar tab to find out the dates.

Wednesdays For ALL!!!

Wednesdays For ALL is an opportunity each week to enjoy a delicious meal together, participate in one of the planned programs, and/or end the evening with Compline. Come for just the dinner, just the program(s), just Compline or all of the above. The deadline to sign up for the catered dinner is Monday, and the cost is: Adults $7; Children (under 12) $5; Family maximum $24 (with a reservation). Cost without a reservation: $9 Adults; $7 Children; $29 Family maximum.

Adult Christian formation classes, Children’s programs for age three and older, Youth programs for 6-12 graders, adult and children’s choirs, special Intergenerational activities, Discussion groups, Inquirer’s class, Lenten Program, Worship…

St. Peter’s Readers

This group meets the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 A.M. in the Parish Hall Parlor to discuss a book they have all read. The books they choose are not always of a “religious” nature. For a list of books coming up, go to the calendar page and click on St. Peter’s Readers on the third Tuesday.
