Daughters of the King Overview Daughters of the King is a worldwide Order for lay women on the
Episcopal Church and churches within the historic Episcopate. Every
daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, study,
service and personal evangelism, dedicated to the extension of Christ’s
Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
The emblem of the Order is a silver Greek cross, which members wear at
all times. There are 36 chapters in the Diocese of Florida with about
600 daughters. Our chapter has 23 members who meet on the second
Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM. For more information call Mary
Thweatt at 261-3034. Visitors are welcome. You may wish to visit the Diocesan Daughters of the King web site.
